The territorial dimension of Roma Capitale is unknown to other Italian metropolitan cities. The extended city constitutes in its current dispersed, fragmentary and discontinuous configuration the quintessence of the always intermediate and unfinished form of the contemporary city. A dimension that cannot be continuously and only regulated within a form of plan still too firmly anchored to the law 1150/42, nor only within the strategic forms of territorial planning.

Abstract
The territorial dimension of Roma Capitale is unknown to other Italian metropolitan cities. The extended city constitutes in its current dispersed, fragmentary and discontinuous configuration the quintessence of the always intermediate and unfinished form of the contemporary city. A dimension that cannot be continuously and only regulated within a form of plan still too firmly anchored to the law 1150/42, nor only within the strategic forms of territorial planning.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
