Complessità - Complexity

Architecture today appears more complex and with it the methods of its 'construction', in a society that moves towards increasingly global, fluid, interconnected configurations. The issue we are presenting investigates the theories and experiments that have Complexity as their figure and attempts to define the principles and key words that connote it; on this corpus are grafted some concrete reflections that analyze significant case studies and that focus on different themes, places and scales.

L'architettura oggi appare più complessa e con essa le modalità della sua 'costruzione', in una società che si muove verso configurazioni sempre più globali, fluide, interconnesse. Il numero che presentiamo indaga le teorie e le sperimentazioni che hanno come cifra la Complessità e tenta di definire i principi e le parole chiave che la connotano; su questo corpus si innestano alcune riflessioni concrete che analizzano casi di studio significativi e che si concentrano su temi, luoghi e scale diverse.
