The purpose of this study is to explore ways to collaboratively address the challenges faced by schools located in immigrant-dense areas with the local community. The research focuses on two main questions: the current status of linkages and cooperation between schools and the community in immigrant-dense areas, and the challenges for the development of schools and the community in these regions. For data collection, focus group interviews (FGIs) were conducted with three local government officials and four community residents in an immigrant-dense area. The findings revealed that the cooperation and linkage efforts between schools and institutions in immigrant-dense areas primarily involve learning support, career guidance, and the provision of tailored educational programs. However, difficulties such as ensuring the sustainability of these collaborations and physical limitations were identified during the linkage process. To strengthen cooperation, certain recommendations were made, including establishing a system for assigning immigrant-background students to schools to minimize concentration, enhancing parental involvement through support initiatives, empowering immigrants, and emphasizing the need for schools to focus on their primary educational purposes.
