Albania in the Third Millennium between History and Contemporaneity

The article is part of the proceedings of the conferences held in Tirana (March 8, 2023) and Rome (May 18, 2023) regarding the architectural, urban and archaeological development of Albania. All this was possible thanks to the collaboration between Sapienza and the Polytechnic of Tirana. The conferences saw the participation of numerous Italian and Albanian researchers also from other universities. The article deals with the relationship between pre-existence and innovation especially in Tirana.

L'articolo fa parte degli atti dei convegni tenutasi a Tirana (8 Marzo 2023) e a Roma (18 maggio 2023) riguardanti lo sviluppo architettonico, urbano e archeologico dell'Albania. Il tutto è stato possibile grazie alla collaborazione tra la Sapienza e il Politecnico di Tirana. I convegni hanno visto la partecipazione di numerosi ricercatori italiani e albanesi anche di altre università. L'articolo tratta del rapporto tra preesistenza e innovazione soprattutto a Tirana.
