Al di là della tecnologia. Tecnica e abilità pratica nella prospettiva ecologico-relazionale di Tim Ingold

This article explores Tim Ingold’s reflections on technology and skilled practices. Drawing on a wide range of disciplines, Ingold critiques dichotomous approaches and considers technical action as an expression of fields of relations. In doing so, he aims to reverse the historical process of de-skilling. This process disrupts the continuous flow of expert action, rendering it operationally subservient to the needs of industrial production. Ultimately, Ingold offers a comprehensive theoretical framework that allows for a radical rethinking of the Maussian approach to technology. The article concludes by identifying some of the limitations of Ingold’s perspective.
