This paper aims to investigate the relationship between Linear A (LA) and Linear B (LB), using LA and LB texts from Khania as a case study. Khania is the only site, apart from Knossos, to have returned both LA and LB texts, which show palaeographic and morphologic affinities in script. Due to different levels of similarities, LA from Zakros, Phaistos and Haghia Triada will be also considered as comparison terms. The texts have been studied using a precise and systematic autoptic analysis, supported by digital technologies (3D models, RTI, HDR).

Abstract
This paper aims to investigate the relationship between Linear A (LA) and Linear B (LB), using LA and LB texts from Khania as a case study. Khania is the only site, apart from Knossos, to have returned both LA and LB texts, which show palaeographic and morphologic affinities in script. Due to different levels of similarities, LA from Zakros, Phaistos and Haghia Triada will be also considered as comparison terms. The texts have been studied using a precise and systematic autoptic analysis, supported by digital technologies (3D models, RTI, HDR).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
