The consequences of the presence of an industrial site in a residential area are manifold. The pollution associated with the proximity to these facilities represents a major risk to the health and well-being of the community. The degradation of the environmental quality of an urban area leads the population to make conscious choices about where they live and to seek out unpolluted urban portions. This attitude has inevitable effects on the dynamics of the housing market and, more generally, on the economy of the area. This work aims to outline a methodological approach that is functional to the structuring of a questionnaire divided into three operational phases. The practical implication of the questionnaire submission is i) to study the relationship between industrial sites and real estate market and ii) to provide data to support decision-makers in developing strategies and policies for intervention on the territory.

Abstract
The consequences of the presence of an industrial site in a residential area are manifold. The pollution associated with the proximity to these facilities represents a major risk to the health and well-being of the community. The degradation of the environmental quality of an urban area leads the population to make conscious choices about where they live and to seek out unpolluted urban portions. This attitude has inevitable effects on the dynamics of the housing market and, more generally, on the economy of the area. This work aims to outline a methodological approach that is functional to the structuring of a questionnaire divided into three operational phases. The practical implication of the questionnaire submission is i) to study the relationship between industrial sites and real estate market and ii) to provide data to support decision-makers in developing strategies and policies for intervention on the territory.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
