Sky’s No Limit for Women: Achieving Gender Equity in Aviation

The paper examines the male-dominated aviation industry and outlines the benefits of augmenting female representation. The prevailing gender pay gap is identified as a pivotal concern. Building on this, a quantitative-qualitative sce-nario is constructed to underscore tangible and prompt results achievable by addressing the pay gap and increasing female participation in air transport oper-ations, aligning with supranational recommendations. The findings demonstrate that financial gains are linked to a higher presence of women, emphasizing that bolstering women in air transport is not just essential but also contributes to operational success.
