The issue examines recent examples of alterations and destruction of the contemporary heritage of football stadiums, following the activity of consultant for the Scientific Technical Committee "Contemporary art and architecture" (Italian Ministry of Culture). The essay highlights the prevalence of commercial interests and the adaptation to the logic of the market, starting from the change of the original names.
Il contributo prende in esame i casi recenti di alterazioni e distruzioni del patrimonio contemporaneo di stadi per il calcio, a seguito dell'attività di consulente per il Comitato Tecnico Scientifico "Arte e architetture contemporanee" (Ministero della Cultura). Il saggio evidenzia il prevalere di interessi commerciali e l'adeguamento alla logica del mercato, già nel cambio delle denominazioni originarie.
