The aim of the research is to interpret, from the point of view of valorization and protection, the wastescape, fragile and complex portions of the territory, without a defined role, in which significant landscape and cultural values persist and may be expressed as heritage. The design vision stems from their critical reading through the tool of drawing; this method allows the analysis, description and representation of the landscape as a place of interrelation between nature (physical factors) and culture (anthropic factors). This methodology is applied to the Domitian coastline system, to the north of the Phlegraean Fields, a deeply fragmented territory in which high naturalistic and historical values such as the archaeological emergencies of Liternum are still legible. Using information systems such as GIS, the research intends to describe the historical development of the transformations, compared with the contemporary situation, and to use the intrinsic peculiarities of the territory to experiment with forms of integration between the archaeological park and the landscape context, enhancing and inserting the excavations into a wider cultural network, resilient to the degraded context.

Abstract
Using information systems such as GIS, the research intends to describe the historical development of the transformations, compared with the contemporary situation, and to use the intrinsic peculiarities of the territory to experiment with forms of integration between the archaeological park and the landscape context, enhancing and inserting the excavations into a wider cultural network, resilient to the degraded context.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
