The article presents a project centered on digitizing and valorizing Carlo Volpe’s photographic collection, housed at the “I.B. Supino Library” at the University of Bologna. The initiative, conducted by AMaC students under the guidance of Professor Gianluca Del Monaco, aimed to create a digital archive highlighting 14th-century Bolognese painting. Utilizing Archiui software, the project involved scanning, cataloging, and curating a virtual exhibition enriched with storytelling tools and social media campaigns. The digital platform allows broader access and interactivity, preserving fragile materials while promoting public engagement and research.
