The study offers a brief examination of the most significant aspects of consumer law in the field of food regulations, with specific reference to the protection of certifications, in light of the recent EU Regulation 2024/1143, as well as the most relevant judgments of the Court of Justice on the matter. In particular, it investigates the configurability of a joint liability model involving both the producer and the certification body.
