The objective of this work is to explore innovative approaches to structural prefabrication, with a focus on enhancing seismic performance through the implementation of seismic hysteretic sys-tems. Specifically, the study aims to develop precast reinforced concrete structures using a frame-like typology that addresses the challenge of mitigating seismic forces acting on prestressed beams. The design incorporates non-monolithic beam-to-column and column-to-column connec-tions, integrated with hysteretic U-shaped dissipative devices, which are discussed and validated through numerical and experimental tests.

Abstract
The objective of this work is to explore innovative approaches to structural prefabrication, with a focus on enhancing seismic performance through the implementation of seismic hysteretic sys-tems. Specifically, the study aims to develop precast reinforced concrete structures using a frame-like typology that addresses the challenge of mitigating seismic forces acting on prestressed beams. The design incorporates non-monolithic beam-to-column and column-to-column connec-tions, integrated with hysteretic U-shaped dissipative devices, which are discussed and validated through numerical and experimental tests.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
