We recently read the article “Literature review of benign Mullerian papilloma contrasted with vaginal rhabdomyo- € sarcoma.” 1 It is an excellent review, disclosing a very hard topic in pediatric and adolescent gynecology: “Is benign Mullerian papilloma (BMP) a really rare pathology or is it € just rarely detected?” We had experience with another case (so there are 57 in the literature), a 2.5-year-old girl presented with intermittent vaginal bleeding, initially suspected as a sign of the child’s sexual abuse, who finally received a histological diagnosis of benign cervical Mulle- € rian papilloma.
