The project for a goldsmith's shop in Naples, located on the ground !oor of a historic Art Nouveau building, was designed by the BTArchitetti studio, composed of Fabio Baratto and Concetta Tavoletta, and opened in December 2019. The shop has a rectangular !oor plan divided into six rooms, left unchanged from its original morphology. The design studio from Campania follows the structure and exploits the existing division to separate the rooms by product type. Four rooms, characterised by dierent colours: acid yellow, burgundy, orange and white, are respectively destined for the display of silver, gold, semi-precious and watchmaking products, while the other two rooms are used for storage and a private area dedicated to personnel. The modern design of the intervention on the one hand emphasises the classical lines of the structure, particularly the vaulted ceiling system, and on the other hand plays with the contemporary reinterpretation of elements belonging to the classical era such as the boiserie. The latter is one of the project's strong points. Its hexagonal honeycomb shape itself becomes a display case, which, combined with the coloured walls traversed by LED light lines to uniformly illuminate the entire room, makes the space dynamic and lively.
Il progetto di un negozio di ore#ceria a Napoli, situato al piano terra di una palazzina storica in stile Liberty, è stato disegnato dallo studio BTArchitetti, composto da Fabio Baratto e Concetta Tavoletta, e inaugurato nel dicembre 2019. Il punto vendita presenta una pianta rettangolare divisa in sei ambienti, lasciata invariata rispetto alla sua morfologia originaria. Il progetto dello studio campano asseconda la struttura e sfrutta la divisione esistente per disgiungere gli ambienti per tipologie di prodotto. Quattro stanze, caratterizzate da cromie diverse: giallo acido, bordeaux, arancio e bianco, sono rispettivamente destinate all’esposizione dei prodotti di argenteria, ore#ceria, semipreziosi e orologeria, mentre gli altri due ambienti sono destinati al deposito e a un’area privata dedicata al personale. Il design moderno dell’intervento da un lato risalta le linee classiche della struttura, in modo particolare il sistema dei sotti a volta, dall’altro lato gioca reinterpretando in chiave contemporanea degli elementi appartenenti all’età classica come la boiserie. Proprio quest’ultima è uno degli elementi di forza del progetto. La sua forma esagonale a nido d’ape diventa essa stessa una vetrina espositiva, che combinata con le pareti colorate percorse da linee di luce Led utili a illuminare in maniera uniforme tutto l’ambiente, rende lo spazio dinamico e vivace.
