The rheological properties of the lamellar phase (Lα) of the system C10E3/D2O have been studied along an isoplethal path (40 wt% C10E3) within the temperature interval 25-42°C. A dynamic phase diagram was determined by steady-state rheometry: under shear action, the lamellar phase was transformed into multilamellar vesicles. The location of this structure, symbolized by Lα*, depends only on the temperature and shear rate value applied. A two-phase region (Lα + Lα*) was also observed.
