The paper proposes a generalized approach ofthe IECKENELEC protection against indirect contact bygrounding and automatic disconnection of the supply forelectrical installations of buildings, in both the cases of IOWvoltage system (electrical installations up to 1 kV ac) ( IECpublications 364) and of high voltage system (electricalinstallations exceeding 1 kV a.c, ( CENELEC HD 637 Sl).The risk evaluation and the admissible limit values of thetouch voltages in the IECKENELEC documents for thetwo cases are very different. In each case, conventionalsafety rules are fixed.

Abstract
The paper proposes a generalized approach ofthe IECKENELEC protection against indirect contact bygrounding and automatic disconnection of the supply forelectrical installations of buildings, in both the cases of IOWvoltage system (electrical installations up to 1 kV ac) ( IECpublications 364) and of high voltage system (electricalinstallations exceeding 1 kV a.c, ( CENELEC HD 637 Sl).The risk evaluation and the admissible limit values of thetouch voltages in the IECKENELEC documents for thetwo cases are very different. In each case, conventionalsafety rules are fixed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
