Gianluca Peluffo's book "Il giuramento di Pan" already has an ethical dimension in its title taken from the analogy of the oath that doctors take for their profession, the Hippocratic Oath. The book, structured as a mix between a pamphlet and an autobiography, covers what for Peluffo constitute the fundamental arguments and themes in the practice of design, not within the principle of autonomy of architecture, but rather as nodes of a dialogue between architecture and reality, or rather, society. There is a theatrical and engaging dimension that passes through the concatenation of themes, which each architect addresses in the projects he elaborates and develops, which allow each of us to travel and undertake paths within our own thoughts, in a self-analytical practice of what we do.
