This study aims to examine the role of creativity in the context of cultural heritage, considering the impact of cultural and creative industries and the financial crisis of 2008. In particular, it analyses the relationships of Italian autonomous institutes after the 2014 reform, focusing on their autonomy in cultural and scientific projects. The study explores how creativity can contribute to building new paradigms of museum sustainability through specific indicators and social network analysis. The results allow for the design of original and comprehensive stakeholder mapping to understand (1) how museums relate to communities and (2) how museums can build participatory networks within communities.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the role of creativity in the context of cultural heritage, considering the impact of cultural and creative industries and the financial crisis of 2008. In particular, it analyses the relationships of Italian autonomous institutes after the 2014 reform, focusing on their autonomy in cultural and scientific projects. The study explores how creativity can contribute to building new paradigms of museum sustainability through specific indicators and social network analysis. The results allow for the design of original and comprehensive stakeholder mapping to understand (1) how museums relate to communities and (2) how museums can build participatory networks within communities.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
