Le opere di fondazione nell’Agro Pontino e le trasformazioni attuali di architetture e paesaggi: metodi e avanzamenti della ricerca

Within the framework of the national PhD in Heritage Science, this research aims to investigate the complex relationships of the components that constitute the land reclamation territory of Agro Pontino. Different elements can be read horizontally, as overlapping layers, born independently but all competing to define, for the time, a new designed territory. The reading of the different layers can, however, also take place in a vertical sense, trying to read the spatial, but also historical and historicized relationships between urban infrastructures, drainage systems, natural and manmade landscapes, in order to search for a wide and stratified heritage definition.
