Abstract
From a more general reconnaissance of what it means to be a German-speaking Jewish scholar in the first half of the 20th century, the profoundly dimmed attitude of two thinkers who are in some ways very similar, beyond their different disciplinary affiliations, such as Aby Warburg and Walter Benjamin is investigated; an attitude that could be represented on a psychographic level as perpetually oscillating between melancholy and mania. Such an attitude also underlies their respective historical-philosophical conceptions on the theme of origin.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
