The work focuses on how the Romans created wine legacies. An attempt will thus be made to understand whether any aspect was left to the subjectivity of the testator, or whether jurisprudence had analysed specific indicators. In order to give an explanation to the many questions, the fungibility of the res legate in relation to the legate of future and periodic wine will also be investigated.
