OMIS — an interdisciplinary academic conference promoting intercultural dialogue, addressed to young scholars, including postgraduate and graduate students, whose research interests focus on the languages, literatures and cultures of Oriental countries, especially Arabic-speaking countries, Central Asian countries, China, Japan and India. The conference explores a wide spectrum of topics ranging from the ancient civilisations to the present-day cultures and languages of these regions in all their richness and diversity.
