Valorizzare il patrimonio territoriale delle periferie regionali: il caso-studio della DMO “Etruskey. La Terra dei Re”

This paper aims to discuss the issue of territorial planning, presenting the initial steps of the project 'La ricerca al servizio del territorio: piano di sviluppo territoriale sostenibile e innovativo per l'Etruria meridionale.' The project focuses on analysing the tourist offerings and the perception of the local identity in an area spanning the provinces of Rome and Viterbo. Based on the outcomes of discussions with stakeholders, we will explore whether the Destination Management Organization 'Etruskey' can effectively contribute to the development and enhancement of this territory.
