Dear Editor, We appreciate the insightful feedback and agree that an economic perspective on the adoption of innovative technologies in medicine, particularly in the field of robotic surgery, is a crucial aspect that merits consideration. We acknowledge the authors’ suggestion to explore the economic implications associated with the use of the da Vinci SinglePort system in oropharyngeal surgeries compared to pre-existing systems like the da Vinci Xi or Si. This area remains unexplored in the current literature, and we find merit in investigating the economic aspects associated with these surgical technologies.
