This paper aims to present how Syria and Saudi Arabia states see and exploit the antiquities and the ancient heritage. I will analyze it through different topics: legislative, education, and museums. And I will observe several behaviors against the heritage, and the ideological reasons or economic interests that stands behind these behaviors.
