This article deals with an unpublished group of cylinder seals discovered in Ebla-Tell Mardikh. This group is dated to the beginning of the Middle Bronze age. The scene of these seals mainly consists of a bull above an "altar" standing before a seated figure who usually drinks from a jar using a tube.
