The intervention aimed to highlight how Building Information Modeling (BIM) has become a vast repository of knowledge capable of integrating various disciplines revolving around the extensive theme of modeling, particularly for historical structures. Drawing from extensive experience in digital representation, it was noted that in some cases, digital drawing and information enrichment tools do not adequately address the needs of different knowledge domains. However, by combining BIM software with computer programming tools, it becomes possible to customize procedures to establish relationships among stakeholders involved in the complex representation of historical buildings. With approximately fifteen years of engagement in digital representation within the architecture and design realms, a preference has been shown for research topics concerning the investigation of form and informational enrichment through the utilization of Visual Programming Language (VPL) to develop prototypes of procedures suitable for managing 3D models.
