Abstract
The ETIC consortium will provide the R&D framework to investigate and validate possible configurationand solutions to be adopted for third generation gravitational-wave detector Einstein Telescope. Thetwo facilities are dedicated to the implementation needed for cryogenics application for the low-frequency interferometer (ET-LF) as well as those for the high-frequency interferometer (ET-HF), whichare the concept components of Einstein Telescope detector. The main, in common to the two facilities, isthe development of 1:1 scale payloads, investigating cryogenics versus test mass suspension, low-mechancial dissipation issues. While cryogenics will be the main objective of ARC facility in at RomaSapienza University, the interferometric control of seismic isolated payloads at room temperature willbe the topic of CAOS.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
