Canon and code are the system through which the 'trilith' dries and the birth of the column is evoked thanks to a series of processes and similarities that lead to the construction of the hut and the cave. κανών (canon) - which indicates the ruler used by craftsmen to measure, since ancient Greece - is imprisoned in the orders. He lives constrained in a declination of a proportional system. Suspended between ritual and measure, it is a bit bigoted and rigid: it exists in many versions depending on how many canonical situations can be imagined. The rigor of its proportions constitutes the magical and ritual elements linked to the perfection and alchemy of numbers. The canon is the system through which architectural knowledge can be transmitted from one human being to another, to make it universal and easy for everyone. The code, on the other hand, is composed of a collectivity of articles, it is a law with a prescriptive nature. It often presents, like the canon after all, enormous holes and margins which, if viewed with extreme obsession, are already places within which a parallel interpretation can become a kind of secondary duplication, or the possibility of a revolution that transcribes the codes to build a real Babel. Babels are the soul of pluralism and of the world, because only through the latter do we have races that color themselves differently depending on their geographical location. Through the aspiration to a new Babel, interest and diversity can be given to a system that would otherwise be dictatorial.
