IL CONTRIBUTO DELLA PROSPETTIVA PSICO-SOCIALE NEL RIPENSARE IL VIAGGIO PER RIAVVIARE LE SOCIETÀ

Intergenerational tourism is an innovative tourism formula, carried out for about twenty consecutive years, which consists of psycho-social research / experiments carried out in northern and central Italy. Young and old people who are not linked by family ties participate and consolidate the relationship, during the holiday itineraries, with results very similar to the family atmosphere. The outcomes of intergenerational tourism can give rise to projects in favor of the host territories that involve participants in the Grandparents and Grandchildren groups and public and private bodies that support the research / experiments activated by the Generational Encounters Laboratory and by the A.R.I.P.T. Fo.R.P. more recently. For this reason we can affirm that intergenerational tourism research / experiments can provide, in times of pandemic, ideas on how it is possible to “rethink the journey to restart societies”.

Il turismo intergenerazionale è un’innovativa formula turistica, svolta per circa venti anni consecutivi, che consiste in ricerche/sperimentazioni a carattere psico-sociale realizzate al nord e al centro Italia. Vi partecipano giovani e anziani non legati da vincoli di parentela che consolidano la relazione, durante gli itinerari di vacanza, con risultati molto simili al clima familiare. Gli esiti del turismo intergenerazionale possono dar luogo a progettualità a favore dei territori ospitanti che coinvolgono i partecipanti ai gruppi Nonni e Nipoti e gli Enti pubblici e privati che sostengono le ricerche/sperimentazioni attivate dal Laboratorio Incontri Generazionali prima e dall’A.R.I.P.T. Fo.R.P. più recentemente. Per questo motivo possiamo affermare che le ricerche/sperimentazioni di turismo intergenerazionale possono fornire, in tempo di pandemia, spunti su come sia possibile “ripensare il viaggio per riavviare le società”.
