Covid-19 has undoubtedly accelerated the digitization process in every sector. Not exemptfrom this phenomenon are pharmacies, real retail outlets in the healthcare sector. By takinga qualitative approach and listening to the voice of pharmacists, direct stakeholders in thisphenomenon, the present study aims to understand how the pharmacy business model haschanged in recent years. The research has made it possible to develop a new business modelcanvas for pharmacies, which does not distort the current one but takes into account howpharmacy will evolve in the future and defines the new weapons necessary for pharmaciesto face an increasingly competitive and digital scenario. The analysis offers interesting insights at the theoretical and managerial levels.
