This article presents the edition of an unpublished tablet, belonging to the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, which records an Old Babylonian temple loan. The peculiarity of this contract is the presence of an accessory clause that specifies the way in which the debtor will have to repay his debt to the creditor, the Sun god Šamaš.
