This paper aims at presenting the preliminary results of an archaeological survey carried out in the area of Pyrgos-Agia Marina (Limassol district), within the MPM Project. This research has analysed an uncharted territory and established the presence of human settlement in a diachronic perspective. In order to have a complete overview of the territory history, inter-disciplinary methodologies and various research strategies have been chosen, including intensive field surveys in combination with geomorphological studies and with geophysical surveys.
