Artificial intelligence (AI) has seen significant growth across various sectors, yet its adoption among the elderly remains relatively unexplored in the literature. Nevertheless, the increasing global elderly population poses a significant challenge. The versatility of AI makes it a potential tool for enhancing the mental and physical well-being of the elderly during the aging process. This research aims to examine the current use of AI among the elderly. Through a systematic literature review, we analyze and summarize the current utilization of AI in the elderly population. This study provides insights into current trends in AI adoption among the elderly, highlighting influential factors and relevant challenges. It serves as a foundation for further research in this rapidly evolving field, indicating possible future directions for exploring the growing role of AI in the lives of elderly individuals.

Abstract
It serves as a foundation for further research in this rapidly evolving field, indicating possible future directions for exploring the growing role of AI in the lives of elderly individuals.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
