Un percorso attraverso il riconoscimento. Tra Hegel e Honneth

The Hegelian paradigm concerning a struggle for recognition has been placed at the core of contemporary political-philosophical debate by Honneth’s theory of recognition; thus, this also has given new interest to the critical theory of society. Honneth’s proposal, however, is only focused on a genetic-descriptive reconstruction of the implicit normativity in the contemporary societies. Instead, a comparison with the Hegelian origins of the recognition and, in particular, with the objective structure behind intersubjective relations would lead a critical theory grounded on the paradigm of recognition to a solid philosophical foundation of her critical instances.
