In this study a seismic risk analysis on masonry building is presented starting from observed seismic damage data, collected with AeDES forms available in the “Italian Observed Damage Database” (Da.D.O.). Firstly, fragility curves are derived through a macro-seismic approach, considering the buildings stock completion and influence of the “Intensity Measures” (IM) partition for estimating the curves fundamental parameters. Finally, an approach to evaluate the seismic risk is proposed calculating the economic losses measured through the “Expected Annual Loss”. The approach proposed allows to define the percentage contribution to the seismic risk due to the several damage level (D1, …, D5), expressed in according to the EMS-98 scale.
