The present paper describes choices, solutions and treatments discussed and performed on Giuseppe Salvadori’s photographic album (Inventory of Furniture and Small Objects) belonging to Villa I Tatti – The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence, carried out at the Paper and Parchment Department of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure. A strict workflow had to be put into action due to the large number of photographs involved. Physical gels (AgarArt®, Gellan Gum), and chemical gels (Nanorestore®, Peggy 6®) were tested to separate the photographic prints from the thin cardboard supporting sheets. Their use proved to be fundamental towards the success of the treatment.

Abstract
Their use proved to be fundamental towards the success of the treatment.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
