Background and Objective: COVID-19 is an acute respiratory syndrome that has spread rapidly in word. Covid vaccination is widely used to control the covod disease. This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between demographic characteristics and Covid vaccination in Patients with COVID-19. Methods: This descriptive-analytical study was performed on 1124 patients with definitive diagnosis of COVID-19 in Minoodasht (Iran) in August 2021. The instruments used in this study included a demographic data questionnaire and assessing patient's characteristics Checklist. Results: The majority of COVID-19 patients were men (51.8%). They were in the 35 to 45 years age group (26%) and were married (76.5%). Covid vaccination was performed in 26.6% of the patients. Patients who Vaccinated (27.1%) used the mask less than unvaccinated patients (72.9%) (P<0.05). 8.2% of Patients with COVID-19 were hospitalized. The mean days hospitalization in vaccinated patients (6.4±7.8 days) was lower than unvaccinated patients (8.3±5.9 days). But this difference was not significant. The variables of age, education, underlying disease and use a mask were associated with Covid vaccination (P<0.05). With increase of underlying disease and age, vaccination rate increased, and with the use of mask and lower education, vaccination rate decreased. Conclusion: Attention to the demographic Factors and some characteristics of people is necessary to improve the Covid vaccination. Previous Covid vaccination does not reduce the number of hospitalization days in patients with COVID-19.
