In this study, the aim is to investigate oil paintings on paper artworks from a material perspective to provide a better insight on the best way to preserve and conserve these artworks. In addition, this study aims to add correct and more detailed information to better classify catalogues, develop conservative practices and standard preventive strategies for Museums as well as exhibition events. We hope our new findings promote the essential and close collaboration among Conservation Departments expertise, reiterating the importance of dialogues between the Humanistic and Scientific sectors for an ever more interdisciplinary and open access pathway.

In addition, this study aims to add correct and more detailed information to better classify catalogues, develop conservative practices and standard preventive strategies for Museums as well as exhibition events. We hope our new findings promote the essential and close collaboration among Conservation Departments expertise, reiterating the importance of dialogues between the Humanistic and Scientific sectors for an ever more interdisciplinary and open access pathway.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
