Abstract
As an ecological alternative to burial or cremation - both very expensive from an environmental point of view - especially in high-density urban areas, human bodies can be turned into fertiliser. Starting with the broad concept of compost, the essay reflects on the consequences that secularisation, as well as the presumed and possible desecularisation of culture, has on ritual practices and spaces of parting.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
