The research project takes as its premise the reading of the city as stratification and as a transformative process, which is continuously building on itself, defining its dynamic condition. Reading the city as an 'architectural artifact', archaeological areas, both in urban and rural contexts, are considered sites of great cultural value capable of generating territorial identity. The aim of the project is to protect, survey, analyse, dimension and consider the rich diversity of Apulian archaeological heritage and to find a balance in land use, recovering and reinforcing the identity of the sites in a perspective of fruition and interaction between community and local heritage, through innovative and advanced documentation techniques.

Abstract
The research project takes as its premise the reading of the city as stratification and as a transformative process, which is continuously building on itself, defining its dynamic condition. Reading the city as an 'architectural artifact', archaeological areas, both in urban and rural contexts, are considered sites of great cultural value capable of generating territorial identity. The aim of the project is to protect, survey, analyse, dimension and consider the rich diversity of Apulian archaeological heritage and to find a balance in land use, recovering and reinforcing the identity of the sites in a perspective of fruition and interaction between community and local heritage, through innovative and advanced documentation techniques.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
