For legal practitioners, remote work brings new challenges and opportunities, since there are many regulatory gaps on the subject. The objective of this study is to analyze the sources of regulation of telework in the countries of the European Union, based on data released by Eurofound, which analyzes the national legislation and the collective bargaining created through social dialogue in EU members. This research addressed technical divergences about the concept of remote work in the countries under study, analyzing the international standards applicable to remote workers and emphasized the role of the International Labor Organization and the European social partners. As for methodological aspects, a qualitative analysis of the sources of regulation of telework in each EU member state was carried out. The results were that the normative sources of telework among European countries show significant differences between countries, which partly reflects the cultural, historical, social and models of labor relations diversity among the Member States.

Abstract
