In the front of the Covid-19 Emergency, apart from a few exceptions, the Italian subversive milieu reacted by demonstrating all its weakness, falling back for a long time on a controversial silence and giving up on raising the real state of exception. This difficulty in adopting common theories and practices – neither state nor capitalist, neither social-democratic nor neo-liberal – can be at least partly traced back to the attention, energy and hopes that in recent years some groups of militants have reserved, with increasing intensity, for the category of "institution", above all assumed through a Deleuzian filter. The aim of this article is to put forward a destituent reading of Deleuze, committing itself at the same time to trace within his work the textual places where this interpretation becomes possible. In this sense, against institutionalist interpretations, in addition to the classical concepts of “becoming” and “Body without Organs”, particular attention will be paid to the concept of “Habit”, which is at the heart of both today’s governmental strategies and Deleuzian reflection delivered in Qu'est-ce que la philosophie?.

Abstract
