This article aims to analyze the specific way of coping with the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil, considering its local variants, and to defend the thesis that the country is not immune to the global pandemic, which provoked an autoimmune reason for its development. The diverse differentiation of Brazilian society in relation to global society will be addressed as a key factor in understanding this process.
