The research here conducted circumscribes a precise reference time frame of particular importance, i.e. from the march on Rome to the promulgation of the law that banned associations: what we examin in this three-year period is the presence of those parliamentarians who were also affiliated with Freemasonry (since with November 1925, the opportunity to evaluate the Masonic-parliamentary action during fascism ceased). We therefore started from a preliminary intervention of a strictly archival nature, i.e. the cross-examination between the lists of names of parliamentarians in office during the said three-year period and those of members of Freemasonry for the same period. This article explains exactly what these archives are and what they contain
