Around the end of the Hellenistic Period have been composed some texts that collected ethical rules concerning both the behavior and the etiquette in different social contexts. Along with the De officiis by Cicero and the Paedagogus by Clemens Alexandrinus, in this period we find the first handbooks of medical deontology as well. An overview on the deontological, both medical and non-medical, texts preserved to us shows that their authors probably drew on a shared repertoire of ethical rules.

Abstract
Around the end of the Hellenistic Period have been composed some texts that collected ethical rules concerning both the behavior and the etiquette in different social contexts. Along with the De officiis by Cicero and the Paedagogus by Clemens Alexandrinus, in this period we find the first handbooks of medical deontology as well. An overview on the deontological, both medical and non-medical, texts preserved to us shows that their authors probably drew on a shared repertoire of ethical rules.File allegati a questo prodotto
