I propose an ethnography of transnational militant circulations of eco-socialist activists [and their repertories] between Europe and Mexican Chiapas. Engaged in a self-managed and anti-capitalistic neo-ruralism in Europe, which focuses on the “comeback to the land”, they perform strategies to re-appropriate territories, mixed with identitarian claims that mimes the Amerindian ones. I present a multi-site ethnography of two autochtonist configurations with variable geometries. First, we will see how these configurations appear in Latin America [Zapatistas militants], then their transmission ways toward Europe [activist for the land defense in Veneto Region], finally what they become here.

Abstract
I propose an ethnography of transnational militant circulations of eco-socialist activists [and their repertories] between Europe and Mexican Chiapas. Engaged in a self-managed and anti-capitalistic neo-ruralism in Europe, which focuses on the “comeback to the land”, they perform strategies to re-appropriate territories, mixed with identitarian claims that mimes the Amerindian ones. I present a multi-site ethnography of two autochtonist configurations with variable geometries. First, we will see how these configurations appear in Latin America [Zapatistas militants], then their transmission ways toward Europe [activist for the land defense in Veneto Region], finally what they become here.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
