Seashore Chapel is a small, white building resembling an overturned boat, with stilts sinking into the beach in the Beidaihe district of the city of Qinhuangdao, near Beijing. Famed for being chosen by the Chinese Communist Party as a summer destination, the place was therefore home to numerous luxury hotels that accommodated foreign (especially Soviet) diplomats and hosted official national and international conferences until 2004.
La Seashore Chapel è un piccolo edificio bianco, i cui pilotis affondano nella spiaggia del distretto di Beidaihe della città di Qinhuangdao, nei pressi di Pechino, rinomata per essere stata scelta dal Partito Comunista Cinese come meta estiva e per questo sede di numerosi alberghi di lusso in cui venivano ospitati i diplomatici esteri (soprattutto sovietici) e tenute conferenze ufficiali nazionali e internazionali fino al 2004.
