In Early Byzantine Chalidiki there were remarkable coastal settlements, as well as a network of farmhouses developed on a coastal road that ran along the coast of the large peninsula, including important cities such as Nea Kallikrateia, but also the coastline. In the region of Halkidiki twelve baths have been found or excavated.Six of these date back to the Early Byzantine period, but only for three of them there is enough excavation data. In this article, the baths of Nea Kallikratia, Agios Georgios Nikiti and Tripotamos are examined.

Abstract
In Early Byzantine Chalidiki there were remarkable coastal settlements, as well as a network of farmhouses developed on a coastal road that ran along the coast of the large peninsula, including important cities such as Nea Kallikrateia, but also the coastline. In the region of Halkidiki twelve baths have been found or excavated.Six of these date back to the Early Byzantine period, but only for three of them there is enough excavation data. In this article, the baths of Nea Kallikratia, Agios Georgios Nikiti and Tripotamos are examined.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
